US Flood Barrier was born out of lived experience, deep roots, and a clear purpose: to protect our home, our neighborhood, and the places we love.
For years, Omer has called South Florida home. His wife's family home is just steps from the water in Fort Myers—a home filled with memories, history, and now, rising risk. Over the years, Omer has helped his neighbors protect their homes from water, or waded through floodwaters to rescue elderly neighbors, and helped restore a community that’s been hit again and again.
Some of those neighbors have been part of his wife's family life for more than 50 years. But today, many are moving—not by choice, but by necessity. After being flooded three times in five years, the emotional, physical, mental, and financial toll becomes too much. Omer knew something had to change - and started talking to his colleague, Vianney.
Vianney has always lived within a 2 miles from the sea, from coastal France to now Naples, Florida. With a background in construction and heavy equipment, he has a keen understanding of how vulnerable our infrastructure is—and how devastating and expensive storm damage can be. He’s seen first-hand the years-long rebuilding it can take after a major storm, and the emotional cost it takes on families and small businesses.
Together, they created US Flood Barrier,LLc with a simple mission: to protect their community, StaTE and Country stay safe, dry, and calm in the face of rising waters. This isn’t just a business. It’s a calling.
