WHY CHOOSE US?

This isn’t just a measurement—it’s helpful, flood-aware insight.
While we are not engineers or licensed contractors, our trained team offers practical guidance based on experience with flood barrier systems. We flag potential issues—like surface inconsistencies or barrier fit—that you may wish to address with a licensed professional to ensure your system performs as intended.

We review each entry point to determine the most effective location and orientation for your flood barrier system. We have been trained by the product manufacturer to identify placement that achieves the best watertight seal. Before any order is placed, we review the barrier specs and placement with the manufacturer’s experts—so you benefit from multiple layers of review.

We take more than just a width measurement—we measure the opening at multiple heights to ensure the barrier is tailored for the most accurate and secure fit.

We note visible issues—like uneven thresholds or gaps over ⅓"—that may prevent a watertight seal, and may recommend consulting a contractor to address them. We also assess the surface texture and may suggest anti-slip tape or permanent texturing for added safety and performance.

We assess whether your flooring surface (concrete, tile, pavers, etc.) is likely to support a watertight seal where the barrier is placed. We do not perform leveling or sealing work.

We offer suggestions—like checking for one-way water valves or having pumps on hand—that may help reduce vulnerability during a storm.

We work with our product partners to confirm technical compatibility before ordering, based on your site conditions.

Once your product is delivered on-site, we verify the fit, and review positioning.

We show you—in person—how to correctly set up and deploy your barriers. As these are each custom, we explain where each individual door/window names are labeled on each product so you don’t get lost during installation. While this system is simpler than most on the market, it is still technical and must be set up exactly as designed in order to perform properly. That’s why it’s crucial to us that the property owner knows how to confidently deploy the barrier themselves.

We take photos of your installed barrier as a courtesy—for your insurance, resale, or future reference.
